can't blame you guys for not. I haven't written on this thing since Robby came home from Iraq. Things have been really really hectic over the past few months.
let's see if I can review:
robby
came
home
I got a laptop....(which had to come with a credit card)
and we got a car..Black Honda...2003....used but it's nice and it runs great
Baby learned how to use the potty...he stopped when Robby came back home (because it was a major change for him). but we're trying again.
Baby Turned
2yrs old!!!
Robby and I made 3 yrs together! (not married but together)
Staffed a Year II confirmation retreat for our church
great fun great kids great leaders great Camp
it was just great!
Robby and I got memberships to 24hr fitness
oh and did I mention that it was raining in Hawaii for 42 days! (for my mainland readers) talk about flooding problems.
ok well, that's about it...
sorry, but I'm off to be MIA again...until we read again!
So Robby's coming home on Saturday!!! not sure when but I think it's early morning!
...but I didn't get any calls or newsletters or anything from the Family Support Group that's SUPPOSED to be contacting the families about what's going on. I mean granted I changed my phone but my mom still keeps my old one running for emergency usage and I put my new number on the voice mail...so there's no excuse that they couldn't reach me cause that's how everyone esle who still has my old number reaches me. ANd I didn't change my email...if they mailed anything, my parents keep my mail...and besides, when I went to the first meeting I was already living with my in-laws so there was no address confusion...
so basically I'm not getting SHIT!
ok...maybe I'm over reacting...
I should be happy that they're all coming home. I'mjust upset that I'm left in the dark about all this. I mean come on, my husband is coming home and I don't even know if there's some kind of welcome home ceremony like the one in Kalaeloa last night...I'd kinda like to be there if they have one, you know what I mean.
I hope I get some kind of a call or something today, cause I'm getting aggravated about this.
Hello and Happy 2006 everyone! again another long month and longer since I've written anything. I don't think anyone remembers me....*sniffle*
so what's new?...hmm...well - MY SON CAN USE THE POTTY!!! He's used it about 6 times already. I'm so proud of him! I'm hoping to get him fully potty trained by the time he turns 2 in March
- I cut my hair and highlighted it!
-My Husband is coming home! He'll be home by NEXT WEEK! Isn't that awesome! I miss him so much. I'm so glad He's safe. oh and for those who don't know, he's coming home from Iraq. He's only been there for like 3 months...he was supposed to be there for 6 but he got an eye injury...got surgery for it...had 30 days leave...all that stuff.
-I got a digital camera for my birthday! oh yeah, I turned 20 years old on November 30th. awesomeness...one more year till legalness.
-I've been obsessed with shopping lately! my closet looks like a fashion show. nah,not really but it's pretty trendy.
-I've decided that incase my singing career goes no where I'm gonna go into Photography. I wanna be a Wedding photographer and do protraits as well. I love taking pictures and I think I have a natural eye. We shall see where this takes me. So that means I'm gonna quit my job at the craft store and I wanna work in a Photo processing place...kinda start at the bottom.
and that's all that's new for now. There's more but it's late and I'm tired. Hopefully I'll post more often cause I miss all of you!
Hey everyone...i don't think anyone really reads this anymore. I've been MIA...or more like on myspace all the time. But here's what's new:
Found out the Robby's going to Iraq tomorrow morning....he'll fly into Baghdad and they'll convoy into Camp Victory...lovely isn't it. I'm sure he'll be fine...but I'm so scared. And at the same time I'm proud of him, because he's doing incredible things in his life. Keep him in your prayers.
In other news, my little munchkin is 19 months old now...and he can do all this new stuff: -jump on the bed.. -climb the ladder of the bunkbed -he says "mom" now instead of "mama" -he'll dance to practically any music -once in a while he'll even clap to the beat of the music -he can say "juice" when he's thirsty...sounds more like "Jusssssss" -he says "dirt"...yup that's right...dirt.... -he can kick a ball -walk up small steps without holding on to anything -put his pants on...usually with both of his legs in one pant leg -he can put his slippers on...usually on the wrong foot...but he's getting there -he can point out the "clues" (the blue paw prints) when we watch Blue's Clue's -If he wants you to go with him somewhere, he'll take your finger and pull you with him -he can make the "come here" motion with his hand -He just always knows when I'm drinking chocolate milk...i don't know how he does it -he's getting so much better at drawing...more lines...less circles -he loves his toy cars...and makes the "brrrrrrr" noise when he plays with them. -he says "dug-dug" when he wants his stuffed doggie -and he knows that taking medicine will make him feel better...seriously...once he woke up in the middle of the night and he was sick...he didn't want anything I gave him...so I asked if he wanted Medicine...and he made the "please" motion...fell right back to sleep after that...
yeah, this stuff might sound mediocre or something...but they're such wonderful things to a Mother...I love it when he's just sitting and watching TV and he'll laugh at the stuff he's watching. Or when the phone rings and he actually picks it up and holds it to his ear by using his shoulder. Oh my little boy is growing up so fast.
so what's everyone gonna be for Halloween? I was thinking of being Tinkerbell and baby could be Peter Pan....hehe. Cute huh? ok...we'll I better stop now before the comp freezes...AGAIN! adios amigos!
